performance but they always look a little nervous to be sharing the stage
with Neon. So I wonder.

Very good technique but I do not sense any passion. The outfits are sexy
but the moves aren’t very sensual. Nothing about this is seductive and
mesmerizing. This is just my opinion as a belly dancer.

you know what i noticed no one is ever going to agree on one good belly
dancer neon aint as bad as ppl think. like you got ppl who like didem and i
dont like didem ppl dont like sadie so no one is gunna agree with one good
dancer
This piece (along with a lot of Neon’s others) just doesn’t do it for me.
It is obvious that the three are enjoying themselves and the technique is
good but to me, Neon lacks grace that is necessary to a performance and her
moves just don’t flow. This looks more appropriate to a class where the
techniques are being taught to near beginners rather than an actual
performance. It’s more focused on the moves as individuals and learning to
bridge them rather than the flow and the feel of them.
NEON, your the best belly dancer period!!! …sorry i was watching and
typing at once 🙂
I normanly don’t like pop bellydance but Neon and her troupe, that’s just
gorgous.I would love to them with swords. Beautiful!

Regardless of where bellydance came from, it is what you make it. There are
different forms of bellydance. Sometimes you want to show your technique
and sometimes it is more about emotion. Sometimes it is both! This may have
been more of a technique performance – nothing wrong with that. I love the
costumes! I am a sucker for red and those pants are awesome!
I love watching these girls dance! Great job! BTW, does anyone know where I
can get a bellydance outfite similar to that??? Even just the bra and belt
would be great!
@littlemint2008 lol sweetie these are from DVDs. And its assorted of people
whom dance that they show on their YT channel. They are really interesting
DVDs. They help you learn how to belly dance and than they help you to get
more advance at your moves (depending on which volumes you get). Hope that
helps. 🙂

Normally, I love this trio, but this one isn’t really captivating me. =/

Though they dance really good, they are only technical… Don’t get me
wrong, but they look like robots. There’s no natural moves or passion. But
I wish I could dance like that, so the essence could be completely…

Neon is AMAZING!
I love their outfits in this video. Nice performance as well. I have quite
a few DVDs from WDNY, including some of the workouts plus one from Rachel
Brice and one from Autumn Ward.
There are only a few times where they move rather quickly to match the beat
of the song. In addition, they’re assasins. If an assasin moved like a
snail, they’d be caught.

May I suggest a different word? Sexual. Belly dance isn’t meant to be
sexual. I believe that sexuality and sensuality are two very different
things. Also, I MUST find dance pants like these!! Aahhh!
I do and I don’t agree with you on this 😛 I think the line between tribal
fusion and cabaret can be blended a little (Tribaret) but she really is NOT
a tribal fusion dancer. I’m not really sure if those are melodias either;
they have the shape, roughly, but I’ve never seen them in that sort of
shiny metallic fabric.
I love the costumes. I want one of those bras.

another is “Love Potion-The Belly Dance Workout”. There are more, but I
happen to have these two. I got them from amazon.com. Hope that helps.

dance” I soon got an idea – came to know that belly dance may also be
performed with the music such as metal!!! – althoug, of course not those
like Iron Maiden etc;) but… like my favourite band OPETH – it´s given by,
at first, guitar solos which are like telling story – and that the
bellydance, in my opinion, is!-when you dance you tell a story-I tried to
Girls, please, this is tribal – damnfusion? more gracefulness,
flexmoovements, more magic feelings, less pointed akcents, and arms –
elbows up! – this is basic tribalstuff – sit in front of mirror and
practise REAL tribalbellydance – learn from Carolena Nericcio school !!!
