Different styles portray different moves. I like all styles for the different things they put on the table. The truth is that if everyone danced the same style then it would get rather boring to someone watching performances back to back.
Additionally, all dancers understand and accept varying opinions and criticisms. It comes with the job, especially when you post your performances on You Tube. But I said nothing disrespectful toward the dancers and merely provided an opinion on the choreography.
I am not an expert in salsa, although I have studied salsa dance for a few years. I am not a choreographer, although I was trained in dance at a professional dance company. I also studied choreography in college and assisted in choregraphy as a member of another dance company. So, I do think I have some experience from which to form an opinion. And while you might disagree with my opinion, referring to it as ‘nonsense’ doesn’t say much for your ability to have a critical discussion.

I guess base on majority decision (see top comments) you are the one who has to take real salsa classes, I guess you were never taken to the circus in your childhood.
Hey there, have you heard of “FlamaDance” (search on Google for it)? On their website you will find a good free video demonstrating the right way to dance Tango, Waltz, Cha Cha, Samba, Jive, Salsa, FoxTrot and Rhumba. This is why Scot figured out how to dance just like a star very quickly and consequently restore romantic feelings. It might help you too.
I do like Johnny Vasquez style of salsa. This is LA style.
There is Cuban, columbian, puerto rican, new York, ballroom and other styles. LA style is my preference it may not be the best based on the style one learned from another city. But I am still entertained.
Acrobatic routine. You guys have got to be kidding me. These two are dancers and steps and ”acrobatics” are as part of the dance than any other step. C´mon! If you add anything but basic steps to a certain dance style, it would fall into the same fault you guys claim to be wrong. Go get some dance lessons!
i agree with what you are saying; however the performance was exciting; creativity was off the chain, witch makes up for the lack of choreography… i would give this 9.8 out of 10
