Yeah, sure. The movement of hips together with the movement of sides makes the movement logical or natural if you will. Don’t confuse competitive dancing with social dancing where it’s irrelevant how good your movement actually looks.
It’s pretty obvious to begin with. Besides I’ve had many many girls saying they could have crush on me because of my dancing.

Ppl keep asking if any of the dances are salsa. There is no such thing as ballroom salsa – salsa is a different type of dance entirely. There’s Cuban, LA, Cali, Cumbia, and NY styles of salsa. Ballroom is “ballroom latin” and actually has nothing to do with salsa! It’s important ppl keep that perspective instead of the “that’s not salsa!” remarks – no sh*t captain obvious!
